Always Folk is a Beijing-based music band and studio initiated by 13 young Chinese artists.  Always Folk was founded with the mission of recreating, researching, and further propagating traditional Chinese music, as well as promoting the ancient and transcendent oriental phonology with the use of China's exceptional traditional music and contemporary forms of cultural heritage. In the meantime, Always Folk focuses on presenting Chinese traditional music compositions with a strong emphasis on invention and exploration, as well as the addition of contemporary characteristics and diversity.
